Well known in the United States is the story of the "Wild Bunch" led by Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. According to fact and legend, some of this crew (including Butch and Sundance) made it to Argentina just after the turn of the last century. One version of the story has two members of the "Bunch" (perhaps Butch and Sundance) spending time and actually going to their "final resting place" in the Rio Pico/Las Pampas area. (consult Bruce Chatwin's "In Patagonia" for further facts and enjoyment). For history buffs, we can provide special guided tours to all of the areas where these two outlaws lived, held their captives, drank and finally died. Their graves, marked by a single cross are the best excuse to visit a spot with one of the best vistas in all of Argentina. We can take you there.
Additionally, we can organize easy horseback rides to different locations. You can take a guided "trek" to outlying areas, visit an old time "working" estancia and/or enjoy an Argentine Asado (BBQ).
Bird watching! There are over 200 species of birds in the area, including the South American condor and numerous birds of prey not found in North America. All of these non-fishing activities are hosted by our staff and arranged to meet your individual expectations and tastes.
Ever heard of the "Golden Tiger"?... You can meet him on your way, near the beautiful city of Buenos Aires!
